Located at the northwest tip of Fidalgo Island in Anacortes, Washington Park is an amazing park for beach combers and sight seers. Washington Park is Anacortes's largest park at 220 acres and features forest land & rocky beaches. The park also features a scenic 2.2 mile one way paved loop. The loop is designed for pedestrian, bicycles and autos without trailers.

Washington Park features a couple of beaches. The first beach is located to the right as soon as you enter the park. This first beach has a free boat launch. It is free to launch boats from Washington Park, although there is a small fee if you would like to leave your truck and trailer in the parking lot. Washington Park's Second Beach

 
Along the 2.2. mile loop in Washington Park there are various turn out points. The second beach of Washington Park is located about 1/4 mile on the loop along the western shores of Fidalgo Island. This beach can be accessed by a stairway. Washington Park's second beach is full of sea life. While combing the rocky beach you can discover crab, starfish & sea urchins.
 
Washington Park South Bluff

Washington Park South Bluff Viewpoint

 
From the South Bluff Viewpoint in Washington Park you can see for miles. The South Bluff viewpoint offers a panoramic view of the City on Anacortes, Skyline Marina, Burrows Bay, Burrows Island and the Pacific Ocean beyond. There are walking trails and informational podiums all around the South Bluffs.
